Understanding Points, Game Credits, and Wallet Balance
Learn the difference between Points, Game Credits, and Main Wallet balance on theJoshHub, and how to convert between them.
The Three Currencies on theJoshHub
theJoshHub uses three distinct currencies, each serving a different purpose. Understanding how they relate to each other is essential for managing your earnings effectively.
Points
Points are the primary reward currency on theJoshHub. You earn Points through:
- Quiz challenges — each correct answer awards Points
- Work tasks — approved submissions can reward Points
- Tournaments — prize distributions can include Points
- Referral activity — depending on your plan's referral configuration
Points are stored separately for your MAIN account and each VIP sub-account. You can convert Points to Game Credits or to wallet balance, subject to your plan's conversion limits and rates.
Game Credits
Game Credits are used specifically for playing games on the platform (Math Wizard, Typewriter, Odd or Even, Color Game). You can get Game Credits by:
- Converting Points to Game Credits
- Converting wallet balance to Game Credits
- Winning Game Credits in games or tournaments
Game Credits are also stored separately for MAIN and VIP accounts. When you play a game, the credits are deducted from the active profile's balance, and any winnings are credited back to that same profile.
Main Wallet Balance
Your Main Wallet holds your withdrawable balance in Philippine Pesos (PHP). You can add to your wallet by:
- Depositing funds via approved payment methods
- Converting Points to wallet balance
- Converting Game Credits to wallet balance
- Earning rewards from Work tasks
- Receiving referral commissions
You can use your wallet balance to:
- Withdraw to your external payment account
- Purchase mobile load (Buy Load)
- Pay utility bills (Pay Bills)
- Purchase subscription plans or VIP sub-accounts
Conversion Rates
Conversion rates between currencies are set by the platform administrator and may vary by plan. The standard conversion rates are:
- Points to Game Credits: 100 Points = 1 Game Credit (rate may vary)
- Game Credits to Wallet: 1 Game Credit = 1 PHP (rate may vary)
- Wallet to Game Credits: 1 PHP = 1 Game Credit (rate may vary)
Each conversion has minimum and maximum limits based on your plan. Check your plan details for the exact rates and limits that apply to you.
Managing Your Balances
You can view all three balances (Points, Game Credits, and Main Wallet) on your member dashboard. Each balance is updated in real time as you earn, play, and convert. Transaction history for each currency is available on the Transactions page.
If you have VIP sub-accounts, remember that each VIP profile has its own independent Points and Game Credits balances. Conversions and game plays affect only the active profile's balances.
